Sumeru Hospital was opened with the visionary skill of Mr. Bharat Maharjan and by the Sumeru Group. According to the survey of 2010 done by human Human Development Index, there were 5 beds available per 1000 people. Thus the government hospitals were having trouble handling so many patients whereas the private hospitals were way more expensive for economically poor people. Thus with the aim of making “The hospital services available for the deprived populous while providing them with quality services and also using modern technologies for the treatment of patients”, Sumeru Hospital was established in 2068 B.S.
